Friday 13 June in Bologna was a special evening: the M&R group joined the local Gaza refugee community to arrange a dinner whose proceedings would support Palestinian families in Gaza and M&R’s music project in Lebanon.

In the courtyard of the Casa Gialla, the Gaza community (supported by volunteers from Bologna per Gaza together with the M&R group) cooked traditional Palestinian dishes, serving 90 people and raising around €2,000!

Before the dinner, both Bologna per Gaza and M&R shared their experiences about the Palestinian situation with all the people present. At the end of the dinner, the documentary This is our resistance was screened to narrate to the people present the experience of the M&R project in Lebanon.

The great success of the evening was possible thanks to the unity of forces, energies, and the diverse stories that gathered around a common goal!
